I wouldn’t call $40k for a BEV equivalent to a $20k ICE car cheap. The M3 will be a $40k BEV equal to a $75k ICE. 🙂

chevy’s target bullseye is certainly NOT the MX or MS.. or the non existent M3… I believe this BEV competes with the LEAF or I-3 BMW more than any other ICE or hybrid. It’s cheap, nimble. easy to park in an unban setting ( try that in a hulking huge MS or MX… and Chevy is a major retailer with multiple sales and service outlets within 20 miles of most of the USA.. I think it is very competitive in those genres. .

In my opinion, this missed the target.

How do both manage to make progress at the expense of ICE vehicles in the same class and price range is a far more interesting question
